Rush out and buy your copy today! The Furry Vengeance movie is now available on DVD!
Not only does the band appear in the main movie’s climatic Forest Festival scene, but a funny shtick with Ken Jeong dancing to our version of “Cotton-Eyed Joe” appears in the DVD’s gag reel feature.
Roger Kumble’s (the director) voice-over praises the band, by name, during festival sequence’s commentary track.
Our bandmate Corrie has been off traveling in South America these past few weeks, and we miss her! It always brings us comfort to post pictures of Co drinking, so we thought we’d share this last snapshot. It was taken at a recent international-Danish groping/birthday party we performed at in Rye, NH.
Seriously though, Corrie rarely drinks – that’s why we like to make a big deal out of it! She’s a good sport for letting us tease her!
If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and are in need of a beautiful, and delicious cake for a special occasion – do yourself a favor and call Rose! If you aren’t in need of a cake, bookmark her Web site for future reference: http://www.cakesbyrose.com
Rose, (Goodtime fiddler Alice Malone’s mom) produces some of the coolest cakes on the west coast! By combining quality ingredients with artistic design, Rose creates cakes for those with impeccable taste. A variety of delectable favorites are available, from fruit flavorings and fragrant liqueurs to the richest chocolates. Hand-made sugar flowers, stylish details, exquisite flavors and Rose’s personalized attention to each design guarantees that your cake will be one of a kind.
The Goodtime Stringband performs at a lot of weddings, and when we see and/or taste a cake it is always compared to one of Rose’s. Her creations are our benchmark for quality, taste and innovation! Yummy!
New England has its share of bluegrass festivals, but IMHO none are better than Pemi Valley. You can have your huge Grey Fox and memories of Thomas Point Beach. If you really want to experience a great bluegrass festival – head up to Campton this weekend and hang out at Pemi.
The band will be performing at Frank and Jess’s wedding on Saturday, and then at an international birthday party on Sunday. A late night ride towards the base of the white mountain’s would not be out of the question…

When we first learned that Dailey & Vincent had been invited to render the National Anthem before a Nashville Sounds baseball game this week, I was immediately hopeful that a recording would be made. Knowing the tremendous vocal ability in this group, and the care and detail they take in arranging material, I was certain they would come up with something special.
And so they have. Darrin Vincent’s son shot this footage last night on his flip cam, so it’s not pro quality, but you can see and hear what a great job they did with The Star Spangled Banner
